Built as a replica of an old residence in the inner fortress area of Antalya city, this uniquely styled boutique hotel is named after the ancient craft of fusing sand and pebbles for use in construction. The hotel has 2 floors, with three of the suites, the restaurant/bar and lounge on the ground floor and the larger suites on the second floor. Renovated in 2010, the air-conditioned design hotel offers just 6 rooms in total and welcomes guests in a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities and lift access. Further facilities include a cafe, bar, restaurant, Internet access (fees apply), a laundry service (fees apply) and a car park.
The 6 suites are individually designed and have either twin or double beds, a minibar (extra charge), individually regulated air conditioning and heating, an LCD/plasma TV, a desk and 2 armchairs and Internet access. The bathrooms are enhanced with handmade tiles and a hydro-massage bath and shower system. Other in-room amenities include a direct dial telephone and hairdryer.
The hotel has a small outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use, and there is a bar/restaurant and cosy lounge area with a fireplace for those cooler evenings. Guests may also relax in the hot tub or with a massage (fees apply). Sun loungers and parasols can be hired for a fee on the nearby sandy beach.
